Gotcha!

Oh my stinkin sweetness!

This little man is soooo quiet and gentle!  He has not made a sound, but takes everything in with those big, dark eyes.

He was one of the last little ones to get to the Affairs Office, but the best looking one!  He was/is extremely quiet.  Thinking he will come out of his shell a bit tomorrow.  It's kind of wild, we have never had a quiet one on adoption day!  Maybe after reviewing our 5 previous adoptions..they took pity on us and gave us a mellow child  :)

He is so very handsome. And so very, very, very skinny.

He has let me hold him, kiss him and give him a very fast bath.  Figured after a 3 plus hour train ride, then a bus ride in 100 degree weather.....he needed a bath.

He does not seem like he is close to 4.  He seems a bit behind, and has some trouble eating and drinking...hence the skinny part.  I am ready to get him home and checked out, then fatten him up.

He also has a bad burn on his right thumb and wrist area.  It looks pretty new, and don't expect to get the entire story as to the why or how it got there.

All in all, today has gone great.  Tomorrow we are off to sign the final adoption papers, yes..we are keeping him!

Right now, he is snuggling with Cassidy on the bed and playing with the lid on his sippy cup.  He seems very content.

What an awesome blessing this boy is!  We are soooo blessed.

Love,

Claire
